Russian agricultural producers are primarily inclined to invest in the maintenance and maintenance of previously purchased agricultural machinery rather than to purchase new or used ones. This is demonstrated by the result of the analysis made jointly by Avito and Aurora (www.aa-p.ru). A certain trend towards an increase in the service life of equipment is registered: owners have begun to treat it more attentively, naturally, the need for spare parts and high-quality repairs is growing. Based on the data of the Avito.ru portal, this year the demand for agricultural spare parts has risen eight times compared to the previous year, on the other hand, the supply has increased by one hundred percent. The top five cities with the largest increase in demand for spare parts for agricultural machinery included settlements from regions with the most dynamic agricultural sector.
According to information collected from the Pole.ru website, there is a 7-fold increase in farmers' interest in spare parts for agricultural machinery in 2024. Today, farmers prefer the optimal and, more importantly, fast way to order parts through the Internet. Here it is immediately clear who is the supplier of spare parts, and comprehensive assistance is also provided, from the selection of components to the dispatch of the purchase. At the same time, leasing of agricultural machinery is in trend, the demand for it is increasing by an order of magnitude every year, especially taking into account state support.
Based on analytics selected from the Avito.ru platform, since 2023, about 140000 offers for the sale of parts for agricultural machinery in the Russian Federation have been presented on this online platform. Of this volume, over 110000 applications concerned the sale of brand new components. Platforms, attachments, booths, bodies, as well as components of hydraulic systems were more popular than ever in the Russian Federation this year. The manager of the thematic section for the sale of spare parts on the Avito platform says that against the backdrop of the course for import substitution, the agricultural industry is showing rapid growth and has indicated a constant need for machinery, equipment, specialists and components.
Earlier press releases of the Association noted a decrease in the production of combines in the Russian Federation this year. Based on the data of the Ministry of Agriculture, during 2024, Russian agricultural enterprises reduced the volume of purchases of key types of agricultural machinery. It is assumed that this trend will remain significant in the current year, 2025.
